MATTHEW HAUSER- FRONT ENSEMBLE COORDINATOR

Matt Hauser is a performer and educator of the percussive arts who is based in Fort Collins, CO, where he lives with his partner, Michaela, and their kitty, Beignet. Matt has been involved with The Battalion for a total of four years, one as a member and three as an instructor. In addition to serving as Front Ensemble Coordinator for the Battalion, he acts as one of the Percussion Directors at Fossil Ridge High School and as a Front Ensemble Technician for Rise Percussion. During his time as a performer in the pageantry arts, Matt also played with the Blue Knights Percussion Ensemble, Rise Percussion, and the Oregon Crusaders Drum and Bugle Corps. Matt earned his M.M. in Music and his B.M. in Percussion Performance from Colorado State University, where he studied privately with Dr. Eric Hollenbeck, Shilo Stroman, and Dr. Peter Stoltzman.
