WALTER ROSIO - VISUAL COORDINATOR
Walter has been involved in the marching arts since 2005 performing on trumpet and holding multiple leadership positions with community parade groups, competitive marching ensembles, and collegiate athletic bands. Walter has two seasons of DCI experience marching with the Troopers Drum and Bugle Corps from Casper, Wyoming beginning in 2012 and aging out in 2014.
Walter’s instructor experience includes serving as a visual caption head for the Roy High School Marching Band (2017), Davis High School Indoor Drumline (2013-2018), and the Davis High School Marching Band (2015-present). Walter has also served as the marching cymbal technician (2016) and visual caption head for Gold Spike Percussion (formerly Weber State Indoor Percussion) based in Ogden, Utah (2016-2021). In 2017, Walter joined the The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps from Salt Lake City, Utah as a visual instructor and has served as visual caption coordinator since the 2020 season.
Walter is a graduate of Weber State University, receiving his Bachelors of Science in Spring 2016: Dual Major in Political Science and Sociology. He currently is a full time senior high teacher with the Davis School District teaching social studies.
Walter is excited to continue working with The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps and share his knowledge of the marching arts to positively reinforce personal excellence and help build quality educational experiences for young performers and musicians.
