DANIEL WINSOR - CYMBAL INSTRUCTOR
Although originally a trumpet player, Daniel has been involved in the competitive marching arts since he “aged out” with Weber State Indoor Percussion as a cymbal player in 2012. Since getting hooked on the activity, he has kept himself busy teaching cymbals at Weber State Indoor Percussion from 2013 through 2015 and at Davis High School from 2014 to 2015. During this time, Daniel helped his students earn multiple Intermountain Percussion Association “Outstanding Cymbal Section” awards.
In 2015, Daniel completed his degree in Music Education at Weber State University. Since graduating, he has been working as director of bands at Roy High School in Roy, Utah. At Roy, among other responsibilities, he directs the marching band and indoor percussion programs, and oversees the indoor colorguard.
Daniel currently resides in Ogden, Utah. When he can find spare time, he enjoys board games, comic books, and going to the movies.
