CHRIS TEMPLE - BATTERY INSTRUCTOR

Chris Temple has been an active member, instructor, and clinician within the Colorado marching percussion scene for the past 18 years. His membership began with the Blue Knights Open Percussion Ensemble in 2003, followed by the Blue Knights World Percussion Ensemble from 2004-2005, and finished as the quad section leader of the Blue Knights Drum and Bugle Corps from 2006-2007.

 

He has been an instructor in Colorado for several local high schools, including Chaparral High School, Wheat Ridge High School, Loveland High School, and Douglas County High School. Chris also had the opportunity to work as a battery instructor for the four-time gold medalist Blue Knights World Percussion Ensemble from 2010-2013, and the upcoming 2022 season.

 

He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Music Technology and a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering from the University of Colorado Denver, and is a Flight Controls Engineer with United Launch Alliance in Centennial, CO. Chris has been a part of the Battalion staff since its inaugural season in 2014, and is honored to continue to work with the group.
