ANDREW ALLEN - FRONT ENSEMBLE INSTRUCTOR

Andrew's passion for the marching arts extends all the way back to his first high school marching band rehearsal in the fall of 2008. As a performer, he was a member of the Cadets2 Drum and Bugle Corps front ensemble in 2013 and served as the front ensemble section leader during The Battalion Drum and Bugle Corps' inaugural 2016 season. Outside of the marching arts, Andrew had the pleasure of performing as a member of several prestigious university ensembles, including the Brigham Young University Philharmonic.

 

As an educator, Andrew has strong ties to the Utah marching arts community. Since 2019, he has been a member of the instructional and design staff for previous WGI A Class Finalist Horizon Percussion, where he currently serves as Music Coordinator and Front Ensemble Caption Head. He has also been privileged to be an instructor for high school marching arts and percussion ensembles across Utah and Northern Virginia. Andrew is excited to be returning for his second season as a member of The Battalion's front ensemble staff!

 

Andrew is currently based in Raleigh, North Carolina, where he is pursuing an M.S. in Analytics from North Carolina State University's Institute for Advanced Analytics.
